Hamfest

The Guelph Amateur Radio Club is an organization of like-minded men and women, most of whom are licensed amateur radio operators.

We live in the Guelph, Ontario area and get together at least once a month to share experiences, catch up on what's new, and to learn something, generally related to amateur radio.

Some of the group are very knowledgeable, some of them are very active in various modes on many of the bands. We have some newly licensed hams who are learning what it's all about. Many others are interested, but too busy with their careers and their other obligations to be any more involved than to attend the regular monthly meetings to hear and see 'what's up.'

We also regularly provide communications services at public service events like walk-a-thons and run-a-thons.

All together, we have a fine time.
